As a former resident of “Rocket City,” Alabama, I’ve always loved seeing the Space & Rocket Center. I feel like holding these and looking down into the little galaxy in my hands is like looking up at the sky and experiencing a little pocket of that “vast expanse of interstellar space” that the BCP talks about.

Sometimes, I think it’s so easy to get caught up in how “big” the mundane, day to day parts of our lives feel, that it’s nice to have a little piece of the galaxy in hand to remind me of how small the small things are.
