How to Support Lauren in Kenya

It all started when…

I took a trip to Kenya in March 2023. It was my second time traveling with Kenya Relief, but my first time that I got to spend the majority of the trip doing art with the kiddos.

While I was there I started planning a second trip, after a few weeks at home to gather art supplies.

A lot of the kids at the children’s home are either full or partial orphans, coming from a range of needs, whether it be poverty, physical needs, or mental needs.

What was planned to be a week long stay in March turned into about 6 weeks, with a plan to return for an additional 6 weeks in May/April, turned into me becoming a missionary so that I can continue my work in art and art therapy with the kiddos, as well as advocate for the kids as Kenya Relief’s Childrens’ Missionary.
